History Will Be Made At Wrigley Field Tonight

Tonight in World Series Game 3, history will indeed be made. Not only is it the first World Series game On The North Side in 71 years, it’s also the first night game in the World Series in Wrigley Field history. According to ESPN, there will be approximately 200-300,000 people outside of Wrigley field to witness this game, and the bars around the stadium will charge upwards of $200-300 just to sit in the bar and watch the game on TV. It’s just a shame that the legendary Harry Carey can’t be here. But, I can imagine he’s looking down from heaven getting ready to sing ‘Take Me Out To The Ballgame!’ During the 7th inning stretch. So, I’ll just say: ‘we’ll just root, root, root for the Cubbies, if they don’t win, it’s a shame, because it’s 1, 2, 3 strikes…YOU’RE OUT!’ At the old ballgame…’
