Phillies Going All In For 2017

The Philadelphia Phillies are looking like they’re going all in for 2017 by not aquiring Clay Bucholz from Boston, but by making intentions clear they’re interested in free agent Jose Bautista, who played last season in Toronto.

The Phillies, who last won it all in 2008, and last appeared in the World Series in 2009 are trying to regain the luster to the corner of Broard St. & Pattison Avenue. And the addition of Bautista will give the Phillies a deep ball threat while they bring along Odubel Herrera.

Adding Bucholz to a rotation that already features young phenom Aaron Nola is a good move by the Phillies…
