I just finisyhed watching NXT from last night. Are we heading for another 4-way at Takeover: Orlando? Between Peyton Royce, Billie Kaye, Ember Moon & NXT Women’s Champion Asuka? Because it sure looks that way. Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with the T & A show Royce & Kaye put on, seeing who can be sluttier. But, Ember Moon, in my opinion (for whatever that counts for anymore…), is far more of an in ring threat to Asuka than Royce & Kaye are, unless WWE introduces a pole dancers division, then you could finally find a place for Carmella, Alexa Bliss and Peyton Royce & Billie Kaye, which knowing Paul Levesque like I do, don’t think that hasn’t crossed his mind. And for my money, I’d much rather see Asuka vs. Moon for the NXT Women’s Championship at Takeover: Orlando.
Now, #DIY has a beef, once again with “Top Guys…OUT!” The Revival & Paul Ellering’s monsters Authors Of Pain, #DIY had The Authors beat last night, they were seconds away from tapping, when the Revival interfered. I smell a triple-threat match for the NXT Tag Team Championship at Takeover: Orlando, and let’s just see if the Top Guys can go through not only the Authors, but also the guys who dethroned them in Toronto in November: #DIY.
And I was surprised, in two weeks, when NXT changes venues, “Glorious” Bobby Roode will defend the NXT Championship against Kassius Ohno, and it’s also expected to be the night Shisuke Nakamura returns to action, I expect to lay a challenge down to the “Glorious” one for Takeover: Orlando. Because, if everyone remembers, Nakamura did hit the Kinshasa on Bobby Roode, and Roode was out, and it did take a knee injury, and two “Glorious” implant DDT’s to finish off Nakamura in San Antonio, can Roode get lucky twice? Can he survive Shinsuke Nakamura a 2nd time? I hope we’ll find out in Orlando.
