Classic PPV Review: WWE Elimination Chamber 2010

Ok, I had such fun doing Money In The Bank 2011 yesterday, I decided to come back and do it all over again today, this time with WWE Elimination Chamber 2010, coming from the Scott Trade Center in St. Louis, MO.

The card started out strong with the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber match, as Shameus defends against, Ted Dibiase, Randy Orton, Triple H, Kofi Kingston & John Cena.

Great match to start off the card, John Cena manages to outlast everyone, making Triple H tap to the STF to win the WWE Championship, but, it was short lived, as Mr. McMahon comes out with Batista and tells John Cena he’s have to defend the title right then and there, and Batista makes short work of Cena, winning the WWE Championship

Intercontinental Championship
Drew McIntyre defends against Kane

Drew McIntyre hit the Future Shock DDT to retain the Intercontinental championship.

Finals of the WWE Divas Championship Tournament

Maryse vs. Gail Kim

Vickie Guerrero stopped the match before it began and put Maryse & Gail Kim on the same team against Michelle McCool & Layla.

Maryse refused to be tagged in and Michelle McCool and Layla easily defeated Gail Kim

United States Championship

The Miz defends against MVP

With help from The Big Show, The Miz retained the United States Championship

World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber Match

The Undertaker defends Against Rey Mysterio, John Morrison, Chris Jericho, CM Punk, & R. Truth

With Help From Shawn Michaels Chris Jericho defeated The Undertaker to win the World Heavyweight Championship

Of course, this match helped set up the match between Undertaker and Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 26

Ok…I loved this event, I give it 3 out of 5 stars.
